Saturday: ESPN Classic - INDY 500 reruns
This saturday, ESPN Classic will show old Indianapolis 500s:
1981 - ya I know, Andretti was robbed of this one. It still has my heroes that I grew up watching though . . . Andretti, Foyt, Rutherford, the Bettenhausens, Sneva, the Unser Bros., etc. 1982 - classic race, with an outstanding finish 1986 - the first LIVE telecast of the 500. Ya tell me about it, it shouldn't have taken that long for this event to be broadcasted LIVE. Well...that's ABC for ya. 1987 - a surprise win for Al Sr. 1991 - Mears and Mike Andretti go at it, in the turns no less!!! 1992 - Little Al and Scott Goodyear make it an exciting one. Well fellow race nuts, hope you're able to watch these. Enjoy!
