Classic Races
I was thinking of trading some videos with someone else down here in Aus, and wanted to get some classic Champ Car races. This is the list of what he has, and I would greatly appreciate recommendations of races to ask for…………….

Wouldn't it have been easier to just say "Any race from 1996-2001"?
 These ones immediately spring to mind: 1995 Cleveland (For Sure!) 1996 Laguna 1997 Cleveland, Detroit, Milwaukee, Vancouver, Portland 2000 Michigan 2001 Michigan |

From 1998 best races were Michigan, Fontana, Mid-Ohio and Vancouver. 2001 Elkhart Lake was also interesting.
Since 1998 Fontana race had $1000000 award for a winner. |

I'm looking forward to peoples' answers here too. I could probably dig up one or two of those events from my boxful of videotapes, but I also need to know what to look for! Sometimes when I'm bored I like to compile "highlight reels".

Ah, thanks for reminding me macdaddy. I wanted to ask you if you if in the future you maybe making some new videos. Seen your Cleveland ('95), Milwaukee, Portland and Vancouver 1997 videos, and very much enjoyed them.
Could you mind making if you still have them.....races from '96? |

New Hampshire '93 was good. (If you have that or can get it)
I enjoyed Surfers '98, not sure if it was a good race but I enjoyed it. |

In response to the original poster - I don't think CART has ever raced at Firebird - it's more of a test-track.

CART did not race at Firebird, but did race at PIR until 1994 or so. I started working ovals in '95, and Phoenix was off the list by then but New Hampshire was still on the schedule.
