Could it be the #5? Just my thinking. They surely couldn't punt Glenn early, surely. I would be devastated if if that was the case. After all, my mother's smashed car was repaired by Canto Smash Repairs in my local domicile. How bittersweet would that be?

What the hell was GR thinking!!!!!!!

What was GR thinking!!!!!!! Throwing away a promising young driver in Andrew Jones 2/3 of the way into the season in his rookie year in V8 Supercars, especially after he and fellow driver Cameron McConville finished strong, A Top 10 at the Sandown 500 and a credible 4th at the Bathurst 1000. Hmmm must have been the car?
Why would you make such a radical change GR now that the season is almost finished.
I don't think Andrew Jones's potential was fully recognised or supported at GRM.
I'm sure another Team will snatch him up soon.

Has this been announced officially?

It has been strongly rumoured at Bathurst as if it was going to happen, with Mr Holdsworth to replace Mr Jones... but if Mr McConville is off to PWR in 2006, GRM will need a team leader...

All may not be lost....

I would prefer Mr Jones got his backside trackside in a more competitive car however..

Its funny with conspiracy theories, and the current flux of the V8Supercar paddock.... you can almost link anything to anything by way of degrees of separation....

AJ would do a good job in an SBR car... needs more miles, and an engineering training ground (delete options in his 2005 ride... ) but the blue mob would do well to pick him up....

Would of thought he`d be replacing Steve Johnson..Wasnt he going to leave DJR and try something in America or perhaps SBR.Although i doubt he`ll get that gig.

That would be crazy if they get rid of Jones already...Doesnt make sense at all.

And i suppose if he does move on and get a gig elsewhere and perform solidly,i suppose garry Rodgers will claim that he always believed in him..Hahaha,yeah right boofhead..lol

Would be interesting to see what he can do with that pile of junk. Andrew Jones did not just turn into a dud in the off-season.

Having said that, I think Canto is the better prospect of the two.

Has Holden finally got one back on Ford and pinched a young gun from under its nose, due to its dilly-dallying with the driver in question?
