FWD - Fuel Cell Location
What would be the best way to go in terms of fuel cell location in a FWD Race car? Having the weight in front of the rear wheels or behind the rear wheel centre line?

I would have thought that the closer to the centre line of the r.axle, the better.

I'd say in the middle of the car. The closer to the centre of mass the better. The reason being that the change in weight from full to empty will cause the least variation in handling.
