Silverstone camping

Hi, I'm after a bit of knowledge, I'm off to Silverstone at the weekend, finals state camping is outside at Copse, how do you get to the site, through circuit or is there another way in? also are there any showers?
Thanks in advance
Andy

Go through main entrance, first left, follow it round to copse. Campsite is on the LHS.

See you there - I'm on the startline. Not sure where other half will be yet!

Go in through the main gate and turn immediately left.
Keep following the road around the outside of the track, and the entrance to the camping area is through a set of gates on the opposite side of the road to the Bridge Shop.
As for showers, according to this useful Google Map, the nearest showers are in the Paddock which is a 2-3 minute walk if you go through Copse Tunnel. I didn't find any which were closer when I stayed over at the F2 event.

For some meetings, temporary showers are put on the marshals' campsite at the water point, but this is the exception rather than the rule.

Although I marshal at various circuits, I'm actually scrutineering for this one.
Mega thanks for the advice and the map is excellent, many thanks to whoever took the time to do it.
see you there, look for the blue Pug estate.

Ah ha! So that's what the Area 24 site is used for the rest of the time. Well I'll be aiming for my usual Britcar 24hr plot for the third year in a row
