I dont understand it. After 7 mins they throw the yellow for the car on the exit of turn one but at the end of the first lap the same tow truck and car was IN THE MIDDLE OF THE TRACK LITERALLY and that was somehow acceptable?

What the hell??

Herein lies the problem. I'm just not interested in making time for this series when a FCY is so likely and takes so much time out of the race.

Having said that what I've seen so far today has been good. Long may it continue.

Besides the first lap tow truck fcy shenanigans it was a good race,

great battle between johny o' and lietzinger.

Heart break of a tire blow out for the porsche cup leader.

That was a fun race! O'Connell and Leitzinger are two of the best drivers in the business. Some good all around fairly respectful racing from the entire field. Lots of green flag action, with only the one short FCY early.
THIS is how World Challenge Racing should be!

Yeah, that was terrifying.
I think the series was trying a little too hard to avoid throwing a yellow.
We all like to complain about unnecessary FCY's, and I think we all appreciate the effort to maximize green flag racing, but keeping everyone safe needs to be the biggest priority.

If I were the Race Control director or Mr. Bove I would have Immediately found out Who Authorized the movement of the tow vehicle and Instantly Fired them .Safety was obviously Not a concern of those involved . Not like PWC does not have any blemishes on their record already . talk about Incompetence .

We all know about Drivers meetings but you never hear much about Workers meetings . In this case they need to take a few lessons from NASCAR . I've been there and Done that car break downs , accidents are Very Highly Choreographed as relates to recovery Heck race control can even tell if while on scene you Farted

For a Professional Racing Org this really shows Gross Incompetence .

What happened at long beach? I don't remember seeing a tow truck.

Did you do race 2 this weekend?i don't recall seeing ur car in the broadcast.

A tow truck drove onto the track between turns 9 and 10 (without authorization from race control) and I almost drove into the back of it during the warmup session before the race. There weren't even flags out in turn 9 (fast and blind 3rd gear corner in my car) since it wasn't authorized and the corner workers didn't know he was pulling onto the racing surface.

I wasn't at Mosport. Ended up having to stay at home as I had too many things going on that needed to be taken care of before I could go have fun. :-)
