If you had the cash to be a gentleman driver which type of ride seems more appealing to you? LMPC, LMP3, or GT3? No doubt it would be GT3 for me. Any of those new GT3 cars in particular would seem awesome to drive. Why are all of these LMP3 teams running that instead of GT3 you think?

I'd go the GT3 route. Depending where you drive, you've got the chance of outright wins, rather than watching your mirrors all the time.

Overall, if I had to go purely on looks, I would assume this car will not go well. Hopefully Riley surprises me. |

The Riley looks like once of those unlicensed prototypes you get in games that can't afford proper licenses.

based on those images, I dont think the design office at Ligier will be worrying about anything.....it looks to be lacking the fine detail which is visibly evident in the ligier.......bit of a munter I must say

That nose design looks a bit outdated. There seems to be little to no airflow under the nose, with the nose sitting directly on the floor. Unusual for a modern prototype.

Yeah but they could've turned up with any monster barely resembling LMP general shape and it would've won DPG1/2/3 in look department

It looks like something designed by people who haven't designed a prototype for a long long time. I don't know, maybe it's a good car.

Not good looking, shape/aero apparently outdated but the same could be said of the Riley-designed Intrepid, the WSC R&S and the first DP...but they worked, better wait for the car to race

We're waiting for quite some time already, not much time left (if any at all?) for Riley/Ave to showcase their product and convince prospective customizers to buy their car in order to be ready for 2017.
It's got all the making of something 'too little, too late'... Unless of course, the US P3 series (whatever, whenever, run by whoever) is gonna be spec Riley/Ave P3s! |
