I think that Hirvonen will be closer on snow and gravel but Loeb will have tarmac all his own way. I can't see anyone other than Loeb winning the title this season - I can't see enough people taking points off Loeb on the loose surface events to give Hirvonen a chance of the title. Realistically there isn't anyone else in the title race - and that just shows how far the WRC has fallen.

If Hirvonen is as reliable as he was last year and takes 2nds and 3rds for most of the season, Loeb has a couple of retirements/poor placings as he did last year then this isn't dead yet.

True but it's not a good sign that we're already relying on Loeb having some retirements, we're also assuming Hirvonen will always be well up at the pointy end of the field - Sordo could well take points off him on tarmac and it's possible that Lattvala, Solberg and Atkinson can take points off him on the loose (assuming the Scooby is half sensible).

he made his WRC back in GB last year i think, he crashed then as well.
i think aava starts in sweden |
