Thanks for that briegla, I didn't realize that if a team had 2 entries it counted for two cars.

Sometimes the entries are "sold", like last year the 2nd Barazi car was in fact a Zytek works car.

I close the series with some aero testing, seems Porsche got really worried about the airborne cars at Monza and was cheking drag and lift on their cars under extreme conditions...

4 all-pro 430s at LM with the BMS car - a stunning brace from Maranello. The performance of the Pirellis remains a question mark, as to be perfectly frank, does the performance of the Dunlops. We know they have been a hot ticket in Europe, but have we actually seen Virgo run against cars on development, rather than customer, Michelin rubber?

As far as im aware Michelin dont officially supply the LMS GT2 teams, they have to get there tires through 3rd party resellers, so in answer to your question, No.

They certainly looked to be there or thereabouts in preseason FIA testing but the first couple of races have not borne that out. To be honest, though, the weather hasn't exactly been totally t*ts for either of them, so that might not be a fair comparison. A fair assessment is that the Pirelli tyres will have BMS there or thereabouts, but with a strong emphasis on thereabouts.

That is my understanding as well. There was a rumour that some development tyres were seen on a Porsche at Barcelona, but I think that was debunked. I would assume that both Ferrari and Porsche will benefit from development rubber at the big show? That could rock Virgo's boat a little, but let's be honest, they are a top team and a strong run is likely in the cards for them.

According to a Dunlop tech, Lieb-Davison Porsche had development Michelins in Monza and Spa.
