Sorry, brucelok2003, but you were 8 hours late...I would cut you some slack since you are new to this event, but I have always done this contest with a deadline that coincides with the start of the first practice so that no one can see actual track times and who is good vs. not good.

It would give you a great advantage over everyone else to let you in after those sessions have started.

Join us for Barber Motorsports Park in two weeks...I welcome your participation...but a deadline must be enforced...it is only fair to the other competitors.

Here are your qualifying results:

marco, drewdawg, AF and naBU all had Power on the pole for 2 pts.

AF also was closest to the pole speed: Actual-105.190 AF-104.948

With the bonus, that's 6 pts.

For the fast lap, marco, daisy, dew, AF and naBu all had Power as well for 2 pts.

AF also swept here: Actual-105.397 AF-104.948

Six more for AF here

in the Top Six, Daisy had 6 pts., AF and marco with 5 pts., and all others had 4 pts.

Everyone but naBu had Duno as the Slow qualifier for 2 pts.

marco was closest to the slow speed: Actual-94.591 marco-95.910

EDIT: Marco also got two Bonus Pts. for picking booth correctly...sorry...didn't add them in yesterday

The accurate results are below...

Alwaysfirst should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
I won't celebrate. Every time I do I then only get 1 or 2 points for the race. If I win tomorrow then good...but I'll be surprised!

Here are your race results from St. Pete:

AF picked Power for the win for 2 pts.

In the Top Five, marcostraz had 6 pts., drew and NAC had 4 pts each and all others had 3 pts.

No one had Viso for the Fast Lap.

NAC was closest to the speed: Actual-101.471 NAC 102.555

in the Milestones, drerw, AF and NAC all picked one correctly for 2 pts each

On "1st Out," marcostraz, Daisy, drerw and naBuru all had 1 pt. each for picking a DNF, but not Duno, who was 1st out

No one had Briscoe for the "Mover' (16 spots)

No one had Dixon for the "Fall" (15 spots)

In the avg. speed, naBU ru was closest: Actual-84.975 naBUru-83.333

Here are your final results:

1. AlwaysFirst - 26 pts.
2. marcostraz - 24 pts.
3. drewdawg - 17 pts.
4. Daisy - 16 pts.
5. NAC - 15 pts.
(tie) naBuru - 15 pts.

Congrats, AF!!!!

Nice Picks!!!

In fact, all of you did quite well...

BTW...if naBUru doesn't win the avg. speed, or NAC doesn't win the Fast Lap, you would have tied AF and since your avg. speed was closer, you would have won the tiebreaker.

It was THAT close!!!!

I'll get Alabama posted by the end of he week.

Good Luck in the next stage of the "Pick 'Em" Contest!
