OULTON PARK GOLD CUP (HSCC)
The annual HSCC 3 day bank holiday meeting. A round of the Jaguar Challenge will be included. Be prepared for slow trip home if staying for Monday...
And speaking of Monday, it will include a race for MRL HTCC and TDT touring cars. |

I'll be there with the Chev Camaro in Historic Road Sports, with shiny new calipers after unfortunate brake failure at Brands Hatch.

MRL have issued a mail to the effect that RS500s to Group A spec may be entered in the HTCC race in a guest class, both here and Protugal. They stress that no plans are in place for next year at present. I suspect they want to see how they fit with the earlier Group A cars.

However I still think that ultimately it will be best to split the cars at 1986 when there are sufficient entries. |

Have you got any help, yet? Was only planning on going on Monday, but I wouldn't like to see anyone stuck, and its fairly local to me so I can commute. Don't know anything about F2 cars, though..... |

I've not seen a Starion racing for years, and the last one was a converted GpA rally car! Is there an eligible one out there that would want to race in the MRL series?

thank you for your reply
I am not quite sure to have somebody, I shall know tomorow not knowing F2 isn't a problem. the only thing with those cars is that you cann't manage it alone, for the battery, especially on the grid, for the harness, and they also need to be pushed sometime! a good way to live the week end in the pits! |

If one appears it will be allowed, no doubt. About time someone brought a Commodore out and what about these Mustangs that race in Europe, the Pinepac and that lovely Belga car that hasn't done anything since Goodwood? |

I think there is at least one Pinepac racing during PA events. May be two if Mike confirms? They have to make with the agenda.

Usually one, sometimes two Pinepac Mustangs racing with PA. Front running cars- heavy but quick. I liken them to a very overgrown Escort......
Yes, would be great to see a Commodore and a Starion out. As an ex-Ralliart Europe employee I have a soft spot for the latter! |

21 in the HTCC/TD Trophy. Should be fun if it stays dry. I confess to disliking this circuit but it fits with my leave schedule.
Good luck all. |

And at last we have 635's on the entry. Not 1 but 2. I guess the Steel/Beddow car is the lovely Marlboro replica but the D'Cruze car is a new one on me? I remember an Andre D'Cruze in UK FR 2.0 about 20 years ago! Nice smattering of Capris, shame the XJS not entered or any of the GrA Mustangs or Volvos but still a very decent entry so far... And i see 2 Sierras on the ST entry but none for MRL despite the invitation class? |

RS500s- Mark W has been racing in STC so no doubt has championship points to consider. Of course could do both races but would be costly, and not sure if tyres requirements same? He had a good race against the other Sierra at Silverstone, so may be close again.....
