All resolved and registration sent today. There is a small typo in the regs and FHR's are to be as per MSA regs.
Car is Class H. 1968.

Some new shockers and springs on order so hopefully I won't be as much of a mobile chicane on the twisty bits this year

Weather forecast looks lousy for Monday .....and I guess you'll be using Island circuit, as we are a week tomorrow......

Have a good day.

It's actually Fosters circuit on Monday - should ensure a busy track.
I'll be on the bank for this one but will pop and see you guys in the paddock

First race redflagged at around 2/3 distance as Bob Claxton had an off at Clay Hill and ended broadside at the brow of hill (certainly not where you want to be sat). I did hear that Bob was more-or-less OK and got out of the car under his own steam.

Race 2 - Joe Spencer did get the jump and then I don't think anyone saw him for dust! Great battle for 3rd downwards - not sure if there was something wrong with Bill Addison's car but quite a few people were notably faster than him off the start; but then couldn't get past. Most did eventually - but was really enjoyable seeing Bill's defensive driving making it hard work for everyone.

Sounds like a good day. how are the amalgamated grids working out? not looking forward to having to drive with one eye on the overtaking mirror after lap 6 or so

From the outside view it seemed OK. Fosters is a busy circuit anyway so I was expecting to see more traffic than normal; but I didn't see (around Water Tower at least) anyone "getting in the way". May be a different opinion from behind the wheel mind!

I had a rather eventfull day at Oulton and was at the centre of the red flag in race one
coming up clay hill to lap Bob Claxton he didn't see me and moved across I tried to get out of the way but was about to hit the barrier myself, he hit my front offside sending him spinning accross the front of me and into the barrier, I then carried on, the red flags were quickly out and I sat on the start line not knowing if he was ok or not, I went through every emotion until I was told he was ok thankfully!
Race 2 had an awsome race with Bill Addison and Kirk Armitage, Bill was defending like his life depended on it and Kirk was pouncing on my every attempt to pass Bill!
Finally passed Bill with a lap to go and went on to 2 class wins and 2 split grid race wins, a fantastic achievement for me if I do say so myself!

Roll on croft

Its the dreaded word all racers fear yet thankfully few experience!

Good luck over the weekend guys.
Seriously peed off not to be there but some temporary financial issues have prevented my racing hopefully for the very short term.
Hope to see you all in May at Croft.

Neil.

Eventually feels like I'm moving forward with the cars development, unfortunately not on the start line though LOL - mind you I cant be disheartened with the recovery 7th fastest and 14th OA from last + 200 yards

Don't be fooled by the error in his class. He was on slicks and should have been in class A
Still bloody fast though....
