Yes, I have heard that "top" drivers will race them, the current V6s with "middle range" drivers will race in a secondary series and the third division will be the current 4 cylinder series.

Some of the changes:

Power from 350HP to 440HP, lighter minimum weight (dont know how much...) wider tyres (+1"), improved passive driver safety, wheelbase increased in 150mm, and a "DTM like" aero package (including a huge diffuser).
