Let's hope Acura, Mazda and Nissan will follow suit in '19.
That Ligier update better be good! |

They've been out of Nascar for a while now and wouldn't see them coming back. Rallycross is intriguing, but isn't GRC, or one of those series, going to battery electric cars in the near future?

Marchionne didn't rule out NASCAR when asked, but to be competitive there you need to defect a major team due to the way the labor is divided between the teams and manufacturers. I don't see any team both willing and able to defect for a few years. |

I'll just drop this here; I'm sure at least a few couple besides me will appreciate them.

I love those new rims. Keep them !
I couldn't find any sustancial change on the aero, maybe the engine cover. There are two new parts at the top of the side pods to let air go out. pic from Endurance-info.com Last edited by Damian Baldi; 31 Oct 2017 at 22:39. |

Did they tone down the nose styling cues from the original? Doesn't look as distinct anymore.

The only changes I see are cooling related. But they are small. I think they worked more on suspension and handling in accordance with drivers words.

they moved outboard, to the inboard side of the fenders... and the sidepod cooling outlets farther forward. L.P. Last edited by HORNDAWG; 1 Nov 2017 at 17:17. |

In the european tests there were two inlets beside the windscreen, one in a V form on the left side, and a small tube on the right side. Brake duct on the rear left side seems bigger than at the right side. Last edited by Damian Baldi; 1 Nov 2017 at 17:57. |

Though it could be that the inboard fender ducts are now for the brakes and the front (of the rear fender) duct is now for the turbos ... the exact layout is still a? L.P. |

That could be a interesting solution and possible because the single turbo is on the left side. It would need a grill or a filter no?

If the car is not changing visually, it is a disappointment for me. It still looks like a Mazda, that's fine but I also think the car is lacking aerodynamically. It actually isn't my opinion only. And from the pictures not much has changed there. We'll see how it goes for them. Mechanically I agree that the car had major issues. So focusing on them first is the right idea.

It's a DPi, it's not like it was ever supposed to be particularly good aerodynamically anyways. Just crank up the boost and crank on the wing.
