What Next For Mr Quinn
Wonder what Mr Quinn will do now that he has sold Darrell Lea?
$200 million in cash, should buy some nice racing cars to play with. Good on him for keeping an iconic brand going. |

His early business ventures weren't successful, But it has made him who he is today.
VIP Pet Foods sold for $410m. After investing $50m into Darrell Lea, he has certainly turned that business around. Good on Tony and now with Supercars wanting to buy AUS GT, he is sitting very comfortable. |

The thing about AusGT is that he needs to dig it out of the rut it's currently in.
It's certainly not as healthy as it was in previous years. |

Could this see Klark return to racing? He stepped away from racing to run Darrell Lea.
Interestingly from the article, VIP Petfoods was onsold from Quadrant for $1 billion. That’s a fairly decent increase from its purchase price. |

IMHO,
it'd be hard to ignore the role of motorsport promo of the revitalised Darrell Lea product which augurs well for the sport going forward. Bit of a twist in the negotiations with SuperCars. Hers a link that seems to summarise the deal: https://insidefmcg.com.au/2018/01/16...r-200-million/ |

I wish he would buy Eastern creek, bring in the bulldozers, get rid of Corporate Hill, completely remodel the place to be more Motorsport and fan friendly

Or, from your statement remove "get rid of Corporate Hill", and change "Eastern Creek" for Oran Park and/or Amaroo

While I get that they were a bit small, and wouldn't handle a grid like EC does, as tracks they still had roughly the same amount of passing opportunities as EC...
