Tyce carlson has also retired ?

just noticed a little snippet in my weekly motoring mag about Tyce carlson.

apparently he crashed during practise for the Pheonix event and decided to call it quits from racing alltogether.

he has had a few big ones in his IRL career and decided to walk away while he still could walk, not sure what he is going to do now but good luck to him in whatever it is he chooses.

this also opens up another drive at the PDM team , and the article reported that greg Ray is a possibility there as well , but then again what team hasnt he been linked to this year ?

Dr. Austin should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
I am a little sad as Tyce is such a super guy. He is a real personality, something all series need more of. i hope that ESPN will make good use of his broadcast talents this coming May. I'm sorry to see tyce go, but he might be even better to have around on camera.

PDM has a TBA listed on their entry for Fontana. Word is that they are looking for a funded driver. Mark Dismore's name has been thrown around.

Actually I've just received a press release stating that Jeret Schrader will be taking that ride. Good for him...

To bad PDM wont hire John Paul Jr, better yet its to bad they wont hire Mark Dismore, a guy with way to much talant to be out a ride. Good luck Tyce.
