looks like the only race we're going to see a bunch of TCN1 entries is going to be Macau with all the locals. expect about 1 or 2 racing laps and not much else.

SuperTC2000 did that once last year...the drivers liked it and it wasn't that bad. Got to use it twice between laps 2 and 23 of a 25 lap final.

Why not? A new championship where they can sell tcr cars

...and for a championship that is going to be a joke, why not introduce a joker lap?
Marrakech and Vila Real will feature a joker lap

Ribeiro never ceases to surprise us...it's so sad when you think what was the Wtcc in the past

Luckly I think that only some team will put tcr cars on the grid: Munnich, Zengo, Sebastien Loeb, maybe Campos and Jas but the great interest will be for the TCR championship that has a great schedule also

The whole philosophy stinks though. If a track isn't suitable for racing (which includes overtaking) they should find another track rather than coming up with these symbolic solutions. It's politics over common sense really.

It's like the Fia philosophy in F1: DRS, Pirelli with high degradation etc... but the F1 has not seen a better show on track

Anyway, if the works team take on and retain champ drivers we have still a chance to see a decent championship. Also the Citroen will be competitive for the championship glory with good drivers

Use one of the chicanes as joker lap section. Pretty much everyone misses those out on at least one lap already.

3 best Citroen drivers and (if there are 3 on the grid) 3 Chevy's.

IMO they should decide MAC3 drivers after qualis for the privateers, as they don't have a "central decision making body" and let 3 fastest in qualis drive MAC3.
