Rockingham 2002, who's going?????

Well who is going???

I'll have the money spare to try and get a ticket in one or two months, if there are tickets left then i'll go, if there aren't then it's tough luck on me, By the way how are the ticket sales for Rockingham going?

Oversteer , im sure there will be tickets available , as even if they did sell out they still have the capacity to add extra temporary grandstands around turn 2 and 3 . And they have always said that it was designed with that in mind.

I'm, going , but i also havent booked my tickets yet.

Hi everybody,

I know its a bit early still, but is anyone thinking of driving up to Rockingham from the London area?
Getting there last year by train/bus was a bit too much for my nerves.
Would gladly share the fuel costs....

I'm just 30 mins from the track.

I'd be glad to meet anyone at the event.

Off to sign-on at Rockingham tomorrow. Weather looks good for Friday and Saturday. Looking forward to a good, clean, dry race with lots of overtaking. I'm part of the CART oval observers team. Come over and say hello if you see any of us in the paddock, outside the CART tent or on post.

Should be a great show! Whether it be from a grandstand, or holding a flag...lol.

Shouldn't this be moved to the Trackside forum though?

Last year I was in queues of 3 to 4 hours within spitting distance of the circuit, between 9.30 and 12.30. It was horrendous.

Suggest you try to get there for opening time, 7am, or latest 7.30 to 8am (probably be at least an hour queue by then).

I'm aiming for before 8am- I can put up with a bit of a queue!

Bl88dy hell I heard they have struggled a bit with ticket sales? Although everyone will come out of the wood work if the weathers like today!

My kids will be asking when we are going home before the Cart race starts!! DOH!
