I still can't believe this. All my thoughts go to the McRae family. Man, motorsports heaven just got another driver to add to its amazing repertoire of championships up there.

I'm shaking.its just dawning on me whats happened, now that it seems definite. today we have lost one of those special drivers who touched millions.I'm just thinking of the only time i seen him in person at the autosport show in january, I just wish I had hung around for his talk at the show.I'm sure there's many people feeling the same emotions of shock,disbelief and grief.he was a true legend in so many ways.My thoughts go out to his family.To lose Colin and his son in this way is just such a tragedy.
the heading on richard burns' funeral card comes to mind.i think it went along the lines of "one day god needed a rally driver.so he called richard" Maybe he needed someone to complete the team...... R.I.P. Colin, you were the greatest and you will not be forgotten. |
