KC should be qualifying in the top 5 on the gridKC should be qualifying in the top 5 on the grid
Yesterday afternoon following a practice session for the Daytona 500, '99 Rookie of the Year Tony Stewart and returning driver Robby Gordon got inot a scuffle. I have not seen very much on this but have heard quite a bit on the radio sports shows. Apparently there was a disagreement on who was in the way and it turned into a fistfight. Both of these guys are known to have short tempers and are willing to say exactly what comes to mind. Most likely they will not race with one another very often on the track, but the ocassion will arise and it could result in some further incidents.

Hmmmm...former open wheelers going after eachother in a stock car series with the short track season not even on the horizon. This looks like its going to be a real interesting season folks!

After a little paint trading which put Robby on the grass, RG visited TS in his garage and gave him some words and a shove. TS did not back down and TS's crew had to step in and gave RG directions to his own paddock.

Heard this morning in an interview with RG on the "John Boy & Billy Show" that they both had been called to the "Red House" (Winston Cup headquarters at the track) and all things had been ironed out (Yeah...right).

I don't care much for RG. I don't like to see anybody find the wall, but....
