19dodge should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
so can we assume that Konrad and Alzen wont be together in 2005? nothing has been confirmed yet.. it would still be nice for AB to run Saleens.. but thats my opinion lol

i think its too soon to assume anything right now... the GT1 scene is so crazy right now as far as what everyone is going to run next year, so i wouldn't expect the picture to become totally clear until after the new year.

lots of updates: GPC has confirmed its use of two 575s and two 360s. looks like BMS will run three 550s again before switching to DBR-9s in 2006. JMB and Zakspeed/Vitaphone should each recieve two MC-12s if all goes to plan...

GT1

3x BMS Scuderia Italia Ferrari 550 Maranello
2x GPC Giesse Squadra Corse Ferrari 575 GTC
2x JMB Racing Maserati MC-12
2x Zakspeed Vitaphone Racing Team Maserati MC-12
2x AF Corse Maserati MC-12
2x Konrad Motorsport Saleen S7-R
1x Graham Nash Motorsport Saleen S7-R
1x Lister Cars Lister Storm
2x DAMS Lamborghini Murcielago R-GT
1x Star Moto Saleen S7-R
1x Mastercar Ferrari 550

GT2

3x Freisinger Porsche 911 GT3-RSR
2x GPC Giesse Scuderia Corse Ferrari 360 GTC
1x Proton Competition 911 GT3-RSR
2x GruppeM Porsche 911 GT3-RSR
1x Vonka Racing Porsche 911 GT3-RSR
1x Cirtek Ferrari 360 GTC

What about C5-R vettes. With the C6-R coming along what have corvette done with those cars? I would think it a worthy buy if you wanted a proven car. Any one know of the possibility of a vette in FIA-GT next year?

It makes 29 cars on the grid, with another quite weak year for GT2s, except if more entries are to come... I mean : not by the teams and pilots, but by the lack of diversity...

The GT1 category is exciting...

Some info in this thread, Cambo

A Carsport/Hezemans Corvette would be a good bet I think.

This championship definitely needs the Corvette commitement.

And what a field it could make for 2005 !

Don't know if it was mentionned before : it is said on Turbomagazine that Jeremy Main, AM Sports Manager, would like to develop with Prodrive a GT2 on the Vantage V8 basis !

Gossips ? Confirmed ? They want to break the Porsche domination in the small category and offer an alternative choice to the customers... roll on !

Ferrari and Panoz and TVR and Morgan and Spyker have tried to break the Porsche domination in GT3/N-GT/GT/GT2, but to little avail - Porsche have controlled ther class ever since the 911 GT3-R was rolled out in 1999.

Hello Fab and sorry for the delay as I was away for business....As a matter of fact I am very much a sportscar fan. I tested a Riley & Scott a few years ago in Misano and loved it. I think it is an excellent compromise between performance and tactics

GT2 can use another big player. An AM would be a big boost for the class.

No, I do not think so. Unfortunately LM is a very demanding race in terms of time and budget. The former being eaten up by work and the second being scarce.... But maybe something will come up either in GT or in LMES. Too early to say yet.

Some news on MC12s : definitely no deal with BMS Scuderia Italia plus it looks as if the deal with Vitaphone may also be off...That leaves JMB and Ecurie Ecosse for the moment

so it started off with so many teams wanting maseratis, and its coming down to only a few teams..

JMB SHOULD be able to get 3 Mazzas now. thats if they have the money to do it.

then what about someone like Zwanns? maybe they would want to buy a Maserarti? or is it too expensive for them? GTR had record sales in germany, im sure they can take some of that money and use it towards a new Mazza

GTR-game-sales money doesn't go to Zwaans, a limited amount of sponsor-budget goes to Zwaans The money of the sales goes to Roos & Co., and he's not driving for Zwaans in 2005.
