Uk's SCSA 2005 entries?
Its been very quiet on the SCSA team front with little being reported over the last few months-apparently there are around 7 cars only so far that are known. Does anyone know any better...will it be another stunning year...or should we be worried???

Spoke to someone in the know at Silverstone Sunday and it seems things are not to rosey for SCSA at the moment with about 9 cars for sure. Where are all the other cars I wonder? Also, it seems Rockingham circuit were (apparently) paying a sizeable starting fee to each car entered which this year isn't going to happen thus this could be why we are seeing little movement on the SCSA side at present. Lets hope that a sizeable backer comes along soon and helps motivate those thinking of giving SCSA a go and for those already commited to the series. This is Britains best and most important series in recent years and it would be a crying shame if it was to fall flat after all that has been done by all concerned so far. Fingers crossed for some good news on the subject soon and I'm sure all those at Rockingham involved are trying their very best as always.

Latest news is that a meeting has recently taken place as I understand and a deal has been struck apparently which will may now give appearance/start money (or something) to teams so it looks like we could see up to 20 cars again for the season. I'm sure news will apear in the weekly motorsport press soon on the subject so I guess will will see what occurs then without delving into something deeper that may be inapropriate for this forum.

Would be one more but I've not managed to firm up any sponsors yet so I'll be sitting out most if not all the year again

The cheer leaders did it for me last year. As long as they are back, I won't mind.

Great to see that the racing was good as usual and liked the way they lined up all the cars in the pitlane and the pickUps on the main straight-nice touch. Some new girls in the "Rock Chicks" line-up which should cheer-up Hakkiman! Lots of new "photographers" seem to have found their way onto the scene so to speak strangely.

The Rock Chicks are about ages 13-15, so I don't look at them.
