Love the car but it aint the same without the original screaming Aston Martin V12. That was one of the best sounding engines in GT racing.

Robert Ryan should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid

As I said before , it never had a Aston Martin V12 or was designed to have one. The body was NOT taken from a production Aston Martin.

I didnt mean it in that way. Im a big sportscar racing fan and used to hearing a DBR9 with a screaming Aston V12 up the front and now this replica (what else could you call it) rumbles along with a big V8. Its a bit weird seeing something and hearing something different then what Im used to. Not fussed what engine it runs, its just great to see the car out racing.

As I said before, love the car, a beautiful machine. The choice of a DBR9 lookalike is a bit left field but a great one at that.

Sensational looking and sounding car. Can't wait to see it up against the Alfa and Audi at the Island...

It has a 780hp Carburreted ex-Nationwide NASCAR engine. Decidedly less exotic, but netherless effective alternative.
