howard should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
BARC F Renault Championship – Snetterton 13/07/03

At next weekend's Snetterton race, it would nice to see some drivers also enter the online-landlord.co.uk single seater series. It would be possible to do 3 races in one day! Now that is value club racing. If you are interested call Peter Edwards 07785 304593.

Howard,
Some of us were set to do it, but being all on Sunday will make it a bit of a desperate day. Unfortunately BARC didn't have their thinking cap on when they arranged the programme. Most of us test on the Friday, so we will be kicking our heels all Saturday with qualifying and race on Sunday. A lot of us would have welcomed the chance to run in your race on Saturday, but I suspect you won't get many takers for a Sunday event.

The front runners won't enter, as its not a championship round and therefore not worth risking damage and engine time etc....

terje,
It's worse than that, we spend 20 mins in the parc ferme after qualifying and the race, and in the instance of single seater formula qualifying and the second single seater race their isn't sufficient time to refuel etc and get to the assembly area.
If it was on Saturday I think several people would have done it, although you are right about most of the front runners.

But a race is a race at the end of the day.

That is most annoying,
I rang BARC after I had seen Howards message and asked if there was any way they could, with you guys agreement , move it to Saturday. that way you would have got a number of bored Renault drivers to join in. They said that the programme had gone for print and they were unable to change it. The message for you guys is that during two day events and up to the time your formula can stand on it's own feet you should ask to be positioned in the programme in a way that allows you to benefit from formulas like ours also being there.
