Maybe he'd like to go rather than is going?

Cammish in BTCC would be good news. Cammish in one of the best seats would be fantastic.

How many days to Brands?

Surely if Cammish was going to Honda, then he wouldn't be liking comments?

In this same advert it quotes ‘cornerhose garage proud sponsors of team Parker racing’ pretty much confirms their return

Thinking aloud here about possible Dynamics drivers...

- Mat Jackson - would be a great option and there are some rumours to support, but is now looking like he'll stay at Motorbase

- Rory Butcher - has links to Shedden, but little NGTC experience and in my opinion didn't set the world alight after Knockhill last year. My guess would be that he'd be in an MG this year (so you can guarentee that won't happen with my track record!)

- Dan Lloyd - great driver, went well in a Honda before, and, apart from the TCR BoP I haven't heard anything regarding his racing plans this year. However, only doing 3 and 4 rounds in '16 and '17 respectively can't look good if Dynamics want a long term solution

- Dan Cammish - no BTCC experience, but he has shown he's got more than enough skills to make up for it. Rumours / links in support though aren't too great

- Ant Whorton-Eales - very unlikely, but really the only driver who did well in the BTCC last year who hasn't confirmed his plans for this year yet

- Dan Welch - no chance, but I can dream!

- Jenson Button - it's a Honda!

And probably a load more. In 15 hours we'll all know...

go back to 2006 when flash made his dynamics debut, ex fiesta champ, raced seat cupras and btc-production so not a massive CV. Rory butcher, raced brit GT, f-fords, not much btcc. Plus the neals will know him and his family well. I said at the start when gordon left that rory would get the drive, tordoff going to motorbase is only making me more confident... of course i could be wrong

Ehm, nope. Definitely not winning 'plug&play' material. Great guy, but not as fast as Tom.

I thought they might be dark horses for a 3rd car this year, but Adam Weaver wasn’t giving anything away when question about the possibility at ASI. Unless BMR are running a 3rd car, there could still be a surprise from the likes of a PMR or Speedworks

All this silly season tells me is that btcc personnel have figured out how to bait excitable people very well indeed.

Social media math...2+2 =947.3

Platos cat followed Lewis Hamilllton's dog, means a Mercedes a-class superteam of Jase and Lewis ran by Shaun Hollamby ran out of Buntingford...

Good grief!

Exactly, he's probably set up his twitter to like anything with a certain hashtag. I know Instagram works like that if you use the right app.

How much does it cost to build a caged shell?

I think it is a smart move to get a shell built, even as a spare. If we see any events like 2017 (Simpson doing big damage in pre-season testing, Plato's start line smash @ Brands, pile up @ Croft, etc), then you know you can turn a car out for the next round.

work on figures between 40k and 70k depending on things like donor car or new donated shell , paint, labour and transport. For a small team its a lot of cash sat in something that doesnt earn , generally WPMS magician Willie can usually fix a damaged car unless its a croft style car killer .

Great news. Cammish has no BTCC experience but I think he'll be quite fast and who knows - maybe he'll beat old Neal? :P
We've got a great grid for 2018. Hopefully Ant Whorton Eales will get drive somewhere. It could be even a seat in MG - at least he would be on the grid.

That could be like time the WTCC decided Turkington was too quick for an independent.

Jack Sears trophy is for any drivers who haven't stood on the podium. I assume outright podium, not independent.

Nothing in the rules that I know of to prevent him. Any driver who hasn't had a BTCC podium is eligible for the JST in 2018.
