I would drive that everyday. Most of them are in a pile of rust. We had an 81 Accord hatch when I was young. It was the perfect car for hauling around 5-6 kids.

Someone peaked in the early 90s with that rig didn't he. Almost looks like they stole their livery from the old Sweetheart office coffee cups of the 90s.

Keep in mind in making your cooler decision, the D50 appears to have zero rust. Nothing on the lower sills, the bumper, the bed or tailgate, everything looked square and clean

Is it legal in the States or at least in the State where you took the photo, to drive on public roads without a front body? And an unprotected exhaust pipe along the side with wheels with no mudguards?

Because I don't think that you would get away with that over here.
