Sorry thought we were all allowed to post dribble, rather than just some. I'll rephrase the body of my query which is still valid then: I wonder if there is potential for Stanaway to be named in the possible secret squirrel car or any other with Driver TBA, given his pedigree, if they actually do run. Although yes agreed, he may be concentrating on his Supercar future for now. Wise words rich07!

Fair enough you keep dribbling and the rest of us will just carry on posting.

In regards to Brookspeed their non participation was apparent before Dubai. Sad to see them not down here again this year

Absolutely, it's dribble that keeps this forum alive. As long as it's on topic dribble. Which we don't know yet.

However, somehow I doubt it. Why would you throw a young hotshoe with no GT experience into an endure on an unforgiving track unless you really need to give the panel beaters some hands on?

Stanaway? ex ADAC Masters, F3/GP3, Supercup, and Aston WEC/GTE works driver. Needing time in GT4 comment is tongue in cheek

My Name Is Dwight should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
I read the Stanaway thread.

Most sensible people said he deserved a main game seat - not that he was going to win the championship.

Some people said he didn’t deserve a seat. Then changed their mind quickly...and claimed they were on the fence the whole time.

As for this race - if he was interested then he’d be a great asset to any team

Wasn't Stanaway quoted as saying he wanted to concentrate on Supercars for a few years with no distractions?

Just reading this article on the 12 hour site

Longhurst shows BMW M4 livery

saw this comment

Quote:
The Boat Works/ Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show entry will compete in the GT4 category of the 12-hour which has attracted 50 entries in total.
Race might be down a few on the 61 cars previously mentioned

Yes we have. Do keep up at the back.

Shame about no second M6 for SRM but no surprise as there had been no news for sometime. I’m guessing it was far cheaper to enter one GT3 and one GT4 as opposed to three cars.

Those two M4s should visible from outer space haha

That’s a very solid car even with Habul onboard. Marciello was mighty at Spa last year and Vaultier isn’t too far behind as his efforts with Kenny in IMSA attest. Whincup will settle in quickly as someone of his talents would.

yeah agreed, the current 12 hour champion should settle in quickly

I dont get why they would want to run this car as a pro car and keep the bronze driver in it, surely if that was the case it would have been better to get a quick silver driver and still be able to run pro-am. Im sure they have their reasoning but im just not seeing it
