Alan Cooper should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Shakedown / Testing at Three Sisters Race Circuit

I have heard from a friend who has found out that Three Sisters (Lancashire) have reduced their costs for shake-down / testing. The cost is now only £50 for an hour or £150 half day.

I believe they are also now putting on specific dates for this testing pre-season.

What is three sisters like these days. It's been a long timesince I was there and even then I was always dubious about how they got a proper car around that place.

I know Oulton park do pre-season testing for £150 a full day and then general season testing for between £200-300 a day.

About 10 years ago, it used to be really cheap (£40-ish for half-a-day??) but then they seemed to stop putting on general car testing (having said that, the day I went there were only 3 of us there). I wouldn't say £150 for half-day is cheap; surely Wednesday morning at Mallory is cheaper (and a proper circuit, where you can get out of second gear).

haggispeed has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
They still run sprints there so you can fit a car round but tight and twisty, don't look for high speed corners. When I last asked it was £200 for 1/2 day but that was exclusive use, so maybe £150 is exclusive use ? It depends where you are Alan, but I would agree with Graeme try Mallory especially if it's a circuit you will race on. I live near Oulton and although it's more expensive than Mallory for a morning it works out cheaper due to the fuel saving in getting there, and of course it's a great circuit

I have shaken down my F4's a number of times at Wigan. Perfect for quick testing runs to check things out and it is pretty quick as well. Speak to Neil Boardman in the office to arrange.
