Blimey, not accustomed to this whole table-topping routine. Feeling a little light-headed....
As always, cheers for your efforts running the game. |

Just an observation, and is in no way a complaint, but I think the points allocation is a little skewed when a fantasy team that has Alonso (didn't start the race) and Perez (finished 6th), gets the same amount of points as a team that has Hamilton (finished P4) and Ocon (finished p7). Seems too much bias towards the constructor?
Again, just an observation. Not a complaint. Maybe something to consider for next year SBF? |

Has something gone a bit awry with the overall placings spreadsheet? The team in sixth place has more points than the team in fifth. And a few other similar examples further down. Or am I misunderstanding something?

The table still had the order from race 3 but with race 4 results included. I had forgotten to re-order based on the new totals before I took the screen shot. I had noticed what I had done this later that night when on my iPad. I haven't had the time to sit at my computer and re-screen shot and edit the post. I'll make sure I do it this time around though. Thanks for keeping me right |

On any staggered points scale there would have been a significant difference Whilst Alonso didn't race, his race score of -5 reflected the drop of the 15th that he qualified to be officially classified 20th. But that 15th was enough to get 4 qually points, so his net loss was only -1. Having said all of that, the rules and scoring are reviewed each winter. This is the first year of the current qualifying points structure, I'll be looking at that to see if it worked. |
