Getting into Motorsport
Like most people I don't have the money to be able to purchase a vehicle and go motor racing. So I have decided that as a part-time hobby I want to get involved in volunteering at race meetings as Preferably a flag Marshall. But I do not know where to start. Can someone please give me some suggestions on how to get started? Thanks in advance.

Im not sure about NSW but in SA there is the SA motor racing officials assoc (samroa) Im sure there is simular there, check through this site and good luckhttp://www.cams.com.au/

Just ring the track and ask them, for Wakefield Park just ring and ask to speak to Matt Ronke, Matt is the Circuit Manager, he is a really helpful bloke, they are always looking for volunteers, they will take you under their arms and train you.

Dont hesitate-- contact them all-- you will be welcome everywhere>I would also contact NSW State office of CAMS ( dont tell them I sent you !!)

If you would like to flag at Bathurst over the Easter weekend the Production Sportscar series is looking for volunteers. Let me know if that suits and I will PM you a contact number for the guy coordinating.
