Well done to Jake Shelley and Michael Shaw who won the 2012 Kumho Tyres Wakefield 300. Dylan and David Thomas second and David Raddatz and Nick Cancian third.

Well done to all the drivers who competed in the event The conditions were very tough.

Best race I have ever seen by far.

Bathurst Media personality Brian Nightingale said on Bathurst radio this morning that its the Best race he has witnessed in his 45 years of motor racing.

2010 Winners David Raddatz and Shane Otten split cars this year but couldn't be split on the track.



Otten , Raddatz and Thomas were never much more than this a part for the first 88 laps when they all pitted together. Thomas jumped both in the pits.

Minimum-time pit stops. Everyone has to make at least one 5 minute stop, and the fastest class had to do two.
