I dont mind it, but the holden log on side is just bland

Hard to understand how a few well-known brands were not continuing. Perhaps they'll turn up elsewhere on the grid?

Ediface became TW Steel although its not on the car...

Wonder whether #888 will have some of these brands on it?

888 have usually turned out a good looking car. This isn't one of them. The large Holden signs on the rear quarters make the rest the car messy, and red on dark blue isn't great, would have been better off with smaller Holden signage in white as in previous years.

The increase in Holden signage would seem to suggest that either the General is tipping in more money than it did to 888 in previous years, dispelling the theory that WR and 888 both received the same level of funding.

size of the sponsorship i guess compared to other sponsors, the silver in vw case works better than the red

As I have heard, apparently Autobarn is a rival of Holden and its products, maybe that's why they haven't been put on the cars this year. As for the others I don't know

Odd, because Autobarn have been on Walkinshaw cars in the past, way back when they were the factory Holden squad.


Based on their business model of selling overpriced car care products, accessories, and small turn-over of replacement parts, I highly doubt they're giving Holden a run for their money on anything.

I wouldn't quote me but - the HRT cars I don't think have ever had any of the auto stores on there cars. Certainly other cars run from the same stable but not the official HRT cars.

hsvdt had autobarn when dumbrell was driving in 2008 from memory.

The Pies base and training facility is the Holden Centre. Their biggest sponsor behind Emirates.

Autobarn was naming rights sponsor in 2008 with HSVDT, 2009 with Walkinshaw Racing.
