Thirty one cars stopped in S1 (fourty seven later on…). Sector One of the Francorchamps race track, Belgium. Poor Marshals.

Iain spending a lot of time in the pits. Hope he will find what's going on under the hood/bonnet. MartinH and friends, doing great with the Triumph TR 4 (Triumph Roadster), seventh in GTS 11 class. The other Triumph Roadster Four announced as "Stop" on the track. Tomorrow will be another day…

We were fine . The Galaxie is going well . I did last couple of laps . Very wet , oil everywhere and could not see . All in all brilliant .?

A wet session, looked like it might dry up but didn't.

TR4 (green, not blue !) No. 87, qualified 56 o/a , 7th in class, but there seems to be an elan also in CTS11, which is a bit odd ??
No problems with anything, other than frequent front end locking in wet conditions.

Tomorrow expected dry all day, so let's see where we end up !!

Spoke to Iain briefly after he had finished an interesting reversing of battlestar Galaxiea into the GP garage ..... That is one BIG bus !!
Smallest car in the field, abarth 1000, is about 1/4 the length !!!

My thought about this Elan! But I suspect they use a different period homologation, as is the case for instance for E-Types ("E" isn't actually short for anything). Front end locking in wet conditions is no good. No worry about Iain, he's a famous bus driver. Is the other Triumph team OK too? Have fun all and keep an eye on the mirror…

Best lap for the Galaxie is circa 3'21". Interesting to see the MG B's race, very consistent (one is in 3'09").
