"Driven... Life as a V8 Supercar Rookie"

In the high pressure world of V8 Supercar, racing life is never easy, especially if you're a rookie.... Follow the evolution of rising stars Michael Caruso and Shane Van Gisbergen throughout a testing debut season, and their journey through life from childhood to the world of V8 Supercars.

3.30pm est on Seven, after V8 'Xtra.

Probably crap, but might be worth a look.

dont think it will be repeated but you can buy it. a little pricey at $40.00 with 22 minutes that was unaired on tv, plus $7 or so bucks for postage. just go to the black magic media website to find the email address and they will send you an order form.

I have to disagree, they both have had it comparitively easier than others, particularly in Van Gisbergan's case, he was lucky the right people were watching at the right time and thought he was worth a go (and he rose to the occasion of course)

I heard about a doco about Tim Macrow's F3 Championship challenge being made by his girlfriend with the support of the ABC a little while ago. Did this ever make it to air, and has anyone heard of how well it turned out?

After watching it on the weekend, it looks like Mr Van Gisbergan has a bit of cash to splash on his son, compared to ol' Mick Caruso.
