we know a replacement for HSVDT will be formed but it's the name that isn't known, HYL is possible so is keeping the HSVDT name, Walkinshaw Racing could be another.

Me thinks it will still run under the name HSV Dealer Team. Mr Dumbrell may not like being called a "Young Lion"

This is speculation based on logic, but here are my thoughts...
Licence #50 will be re-branded #222 and become part of a three car HRT effort and will be fielded by Paul Dumbrell with Autobarn backing. I base this theory on if #222 was available PCR would have picked it up for Patrizi, but they haven't, they picked up #333, which suggests to me Walky's already got it #222! Thus HRT will be a legitimate 3-car team, #2 and #22 with Toll and #222 with Autobarn. It's all but confirmed that Walky has also picked up the dormant #24 licence, and my guess is this will be a 1-car satelite HRT operation and will probably go under the name of Holden Young Lions with the likely driver/sponsor combo of David Reynolds/Bundaberg rum (if you believe the rumours). Likey number for this entry?? I'm gonna say #09, as each time a Young Lions entry has been owned by Walkinshaw (and not the Romano's or Faulkner etc.) he has gone with the year (eg R Kelly #02 in 2002 etc). There are of course a truck load of other things walky may do with these two licences... Such as keeping HSVDT as is and just simply replacing the two licneces the Kellys took with the two new ones he has and replacing R Kelly with Reynolds, who knows??.. |

That could be what happened but if as has been suggested in MeN that Walkinshaw has acquired the Walden franchise, wouldn't it make more sense to have the Autobarn car have a number match with Reynolds' car and have two sets of two cars and set up an identity for each pair - like HRT/HSV? Rather than three HRT cars and one leftover for Reynolds.
Or do you think Reynolds will run #2222? |

Anyway, this all might be moot point is Dumbers pulls out anyway hey? Then what's Walky gonna do? There has been no confirmation that the Bundy sponsorship is true, so he's gonna have two licences, 1 rookie driver and seemingly no (major) sponsors... |

BTW if Walky keeps the HSVDT branding for these two cars he'll try and get #15 and #16 back from the Kellys (if the Kellys wanna give them to him and if they can find suitable replacements (#8 and #10) to keep brand continuity, the av punter associate HSVDT with #15 and #16.
If not I think he'll use #20 and #21 - kind of fits well with HRT's #2 and #22, and both are availible, I think... |

It's a shame PCR didn't get #666 for Patrizi, it would have gone with his reputation just nicely...!

I don't get why people have digs at Patrizi all the time. What has he done that has influenced people to not like him?

Compared to Team Kiwi (#021, #777), Holden Racing Team (#015, #016, #255), Pack Leader (#201, #301), the old Advanatage Racing formerly known as Holden Dealer Team (#105), MoPro (#110), MSport (#111), Brad Jones Racing (#888), Prancing Horse Racing (#888), ANT Racing (#300), Speed FX Racing (#777), Nichols Motorsport (#666), Briggs Motor Sport (#600), Independent Race Cars Australia (#500), Power Racing (#134, #500), Garry Rogers Motorsport (#134, #427), Team Dynamik (#168, #328), Halliday Motor Sport (#161), RPM International Racing (#145), Greg Crick Motorsport (#149), Clive Wiseman Racing (#150), Clyde Lawrence Racing (#140), Riverlea Motorsport (#127), Terry Wyhoon Racing [now Image Racing] (#125) and Mark Petch Motorsport (#100), I think that ship has well and truly sailed.
