Definately a side order hehehe. Only kidding. Should be some good racing. I hope that Scott being a married man doesn't slow him down at all.

I shall be there. Just hope it's dry this time - I don't think my waterproofs have actually had a chance to dry out properly yet this year. Not sure about this bbq/disco thingy though. I've heard all sorts of stories about what's gone on in years gone by...

I hope the weather is much better than the May Nationals! Don't fancy rubber duck racing again from finish line!

Does the cake offer extend as far as the drivers?

Hopefully this time I won't be visiting any posts to pick it up though!!

Rescue never spare their cake with us marshals on the banks, so I don't think drivers have any chance more the case that you will be buying them cakes

The BBQ is opened to drivers as well as marshals!

Well it just depends how nice you are to them... you buy them the cake, they respond quicker, your nice to them and you get offered the cake... the trick is to be as close to them on the bank as possible. It definately increases response rates hehehehe

"You buy them cake the quicker they respond" - dunno if that makes sense to me. I mean look at the following equation......

Cake = eating = possible disaster if scrambled = lets take our time to eat!

And i'm sure mr Tatler will agree that cake should not be thrown out the Rescue unit like a Rescue personnel did with an Ice Cream at the Jersey Festival this year!

Rescue throwing food away, I didn't think this was possible but lets just say the ice cream landed all over the Start Marshal!

Its a requirement of your license that you can be scrambled to an incident without spilling a drop or dropping food......if that fails you throw it at any closed window!!!!!

That's why one member of the unit is always running behind as they catch everything to take back to the unit... imagine the combinations.
