Brundle just interviewed Eccelstone's dizzy daughter rather than Todt. I hate that.

Did Nico do an impression of a Wolf on the slow down?

Verstappen continues to make up places even after the race has stopped!

Congrats to Nico. Lewis sounds like a complete tool harping on about the track and how bad it is because he couldn't pass on it. Yes Lewis, you can pass, you might want to watch the race and see that EVERYONE was passing, it was only you that couldn't. That wasn't the track, that was because Nico was faster than you and just protecting his tyres/making sure you damaged yours. Which you did.

Can i just praise the drivers for all backing off while the yellow flag is out. We need this discipline so we can use less SCs.
Lewis comments about the difficulties in overtaking need to be addressed. Yes there was overtaking down the field, but those cars probably have less downforce the all dominant Mercedes. And if the plan for 2017 to bring in more downforce goes through, it will make things worse. And Lewis didn't say the track was bad, he said he loved the track it was a classic, just that it was very hard to overtake Still well done Verstappen. Methinks they'll be plenty of compilations of your moves on YouTube by the end of the year. And Maldonado, no surprises there! |

Yeah but everytime he complained about on the podium, then the post-race, he would put in his criticism and end it with "at this track". Yes he said he loves the track, but it was like he was blaming the track still for lack of passing. It's not the tracks fault, turn 1 at this track is one of the most memorable corners in F1, it's a classic. It's really the cars' fault for lack of being able to follow one another. He probably knows that though, doesn't need me telling him lol. Yes a Verstappen 2015 passing compilation will be something I'll watch on youtube! Alongside a 2015 Maldonado crash compilation. |

I tend to agree with Niki Lauda when he said " It's all in the driver's mind " or words to that effect.
Lewis has won the world championship and has eased off a little allowing Nico to outpace him even if it's only by a fraction of a second (and that's all you need to make a difference). It's going to be fascinating who comes out top next season. My money is still on Lewis. |

Aero (and front wings in particular) is not just about downforce, but also about maintaining a reasonable amount of downforce in dirty air. If you are designing a car that will have to scrap for places, you'll give up a few points of ultimate downforce for better performance in dirty air. On the other hand, if you are designing a car that you are confident is going to be way out in front of the rest, you'll just grab every bit of downforce you can. It only becomes a problem when your two cars are nose-to-tail with the faster driver (by a microscopic margin) at the back.
