And they also claimed that Buller could be one of the drivers, but now he is confirmed at Super Formula at Kondo.

comtec's run by some old school proper racers with no bells and whistles. if anyone can make it work on peanuts, they can.
unrelated, but it's cracking me up that they're on the 8th red flag of the morning at jerez. now that's proper testing! |

Agreed - time will tell, but from the way I see it there are 6 or 7 drivers capable of race wins and I also think the title race will be quite open too - and like any fan, I would love to see a proper final round decider this season!
On a side note, there are some pretty good looking liveries this year - JJ is sporting a full silver arrows livery, there's the usual vivid Jagonya Ayam colour scheme but my favourite is the yellow and black of Roberto Merhi's Pons machine, very striking indeed |

Very similar in that there are 6 or 7 proper drivers and a load of bozo's filling the grid. |

Day one of testing has just finished and it was Tio Ellinas who set the best time of the day, a 1:27.430 in the afternoon session. He was also second in the morning session, behind Roberto Merhi of Pons Racing.

Wow, that looks like a monster shunt - glad to hear he's OK.
What's almost as incredible is the fact that DAMS believe they can repair the car for tomorrow! |

it looks like the shunt has done a lot of the hard work of stripping the various components off the car for them
i'm sure it's not the case here, but is anyone else sensing that a "gust of wind" is going to be the excuse du jour this season? |

Over a dozen red flags during testing at Jerez. Were the conditions really that bad?

As expected, Philo Paz Patric Armand is confirmed at Pons Racing alongside Roberto Merhi. Given his previous experience and racing CV, he actually performed pretty well at the Jerez test so it'll be interesting to see how he develops as the season progresses. |

Does this mean Merhi will combine F1 & FR3.5?

The entry list for the test at Motorland Aragon starting tomorrow is on Twitter (@WSR_Live) and features only one Zeta Corse entry and still no Comtec Racing at all!

Felix Porteiro's father has done some crazy illegal things against Zeta Corse, because they have fired Felix as driver coach or smth.
Stealing keys, changing locks... quite stupid. |

I don't think Comtec will take part in the WS this season. Spare races, maybe, but that's all.
They were close to a deal with a couple of drivers but it didn't happen in the end. |

There are too many racing series which take away the entries from each others. Very sad...
