On mwm, Goodwin said to look at the final LM entry list for a clue on the Hyundai story. What does that have to do with DPi? Is there some missing link we're not seeing?

I saw you(?) posted that before but I never put it together. I know he's running the Kolles car, but is that the link for the Hyundai story or just a test for fun in the rally car? How serious was that outing for the two?

That's currently the rabbit hole I'm chasing down.... One of my theories was already shot down, I apparently had the wrong "last entry"

There may be some link with the Mentos/Proton car that I'm trying to isolate..

I think what Graham Goodwin meant to say, was that when DPi was accepted at Le Mans, the race would be doomed, so that hypothetical year's line-up would indeed be the "final" Le Mans entry.

LOL.... I don't think that's at all the case especially when he said that the ACO needs to get over it and allow DPi.

The rumors I heard always had Penske tied to Honda. Which, as the article states, has its conflicts with his IndyCar program.

Note that Ganassi doesn't use his NASCAR drivers in the Ford GT program, because Chevy doesn't want their drivers up against Corvette Racing.

Hyundai is still heavily rumored to be going with Joest, who are also tied to Audi DPi or GTLM (highly unlikely IMO) programs.
