or maybe he won't be there either.
I will have to go and check the fine print, but sure he would have to use #24.

Its usually the way given that the #24 is assigned to the Romano franchise.

The franchise owner/leaser can apply to CAMSVESCO to get another number that is unused... there arent that many two digit numbers considering the main series and Konica cars allow for no overlaps.

Well chinese whispers are great aren't they?
Contary to popular belief Tony Longhurst will not be running Romano's franchise/number, Larrys car or any of the above.
He is in fact sick atm.
Even when he is better, don't neccesarly expect to see him running #24.

Does that mean that Rod Nash will run this weekend or do we see Paul running again. Or even Larry himself.

Paul may even finish out the series, that would leave him around 7 meetings for the year. No one is running it this weekend.

How does that explain Tander running 427 at Sandown last year though. If they had to apply for a number change, i'm not sure AVESCO would grant the change seeing as it had to do with the team and driver winning a rival race with that number.

It has changed... you need permission from Pope Tony the Anointed Soul to compete in less than the full series.

CAMSVESCO would had to have approved that change... and obviously did so... what grounds could they give for not approving it? Spite for Ross Palmer?

Oh well, no Romano to watch smash this weekend... have to rely on the usual favourites Forbes, Tratt and newboy Thexton for my demoderby fixation.... if of course Thexton isnt back in Queensland by Saturday afternoon!

Archer should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
I getting just a little confused now. I started this thread asking for conformation on CPR using Romanos franchise to run a third car for who I thought at the time was Fabian Coulthard but later understood it to be Longhurst. Now everyone shot me down about that and said I was right except that the franchise CPR was going to use for the third car was not Romanos but the #7 00 Motorsport franchise, leaving Rodney out of the series, Ritter the sole campainer for 00 and CPR being #7 Longhurst, #8 Dumbrell & #11 Richards...

Now your all saying that CPR has plans to run Romanos franchise again (maybe not at PI but soon is the jist that Im getting)...

Seriously, am I just bad at reading between the lines or something?

Please explain?

Your not bad at anything Archer.
Because Romano is not going to PI and really does not want to race the rest of the year either, people started assuming that Nash would use his franchise to run TL.

If he doesnt want to show up, he shouldnt be allowed to have the franchise.

I will take it off his hands for free in lieu of the liability he will have if he keeps no-showing it this year.

The guy is obviously an amateur in a pro's game, AVESCO were stupid for letting the transfer paperwork go thru

So lets see, selling a L1 franchise to Dynamik and buying McDougalls replacement L2 version to appease AVESCO would have assumed some level of reponsibility for raising funds, and having the capacity to fund and operate a team for the number of contracted appearance would it not?

I dont think its harsh... commercial reality bites
