It was heavily rumoured, indeed Ian Harrison was at the Adelaide round, and nobody but the heavies inside Holden knew the real reason he was there.
I doubt 888 is in the frame for ownership of the franchise, but may help the race team technology wise. The brown stuff will hit the oscillator shortly regarding the 6 cars thing and all bets will be off.... |

Apparently Ian Harrison was not the only interested buyer at the Island either. I have heard there were some other interesting former Team Owners etc there and also representatives of some drivers as well.

There is a consortium I am aware of that has made an offer as well, to be told by the Holden brainstrust that nothing is available.
This suggests to me that the outside players, assorted ghouls and vultures think they have an opportunity to buy something that is preordained elsewhere. Again talk remains talk until the dollars are in the bank account of the current owner |
