Skaife to OWN HRT???

AA reports today that The Control Freak himself may end up as an owner of HRT. This is bloody great news for Ford fans. I wish him as much success as what he got as part owner, driver and manager of GMS. Let's hope Skaife takes HRT to the same depths that he achieved running GMS. |

I'd be surprised if Skaife did buy HRT. He says himself that he doesn't need the hassle of running the team day to day and the landscape for team owners has changed enormously since '96- mid'97 when he ran GMS.
He'd be happy for the short term until the situation was resolved but I would be surprised if he wanted to run HRT before he stopped driving. |

This will change nothing. The money that Skaife would use would be Holdens and he would be just doing his job as an empolyee of Holden
