Why so many threads on basically same topic?

There seems to me to be a lot of threads currently running on essentially the same topic. These include:

Future of V8SC
Erebus way
Volvo out at end of 2016
Words of wisdom from Bowe
2016 predictions
Gen 2 Supercar

Admittedly I started one of those, but how many do we really need?

mainly because the anti v8 supercar trolls like to find any little thing and turn it into another v8 bash

They're all specific on an area. It's only an issue if people don't stick to the topic and discuss something in one which ought to be in another.

Or even turn them all into a boring mish-mash of highly speculative viewing figures.
