Yay! Tomorrow the lights are in town at Lakeisde!

Cant wait, the sports sedans, porsches, daewoos, improved production will all be there turning it on.

Can't wait for the show down at the front between my main man Wayne Wakefield and Besnard...theres also some other quality drivers in there...Rose, White, Canto, Harris. Will be a top day, and will report back with the news/pics from the day.

Try not to sound too happy about it, Cochrane may think that Lites are a threat to the main show and shut them down

Sounds like a good line up apart from the Daewoos. The Porsches seem to be picking up again after the lull when Richards, Fitzgerald, Morgan, etc left for GT-P.

and besnard has taken poll which will cause an even greater stir amounst the competitors.

Just wondering what you guys think of a level one team entering the lites class..im on the fence at the moment on this one because of Besnards inexperience in V8's ..but the stone brothers are a quality outfit..are they playing by the rules on this one ..should they even be allowed to be there ..I dont know ...what do yas think ???

In this weeks Auto Action it looks like the V8 Lites next year will become a support race for the V8 Supercars instead of having their own series.

I wonder of this will just expand the support categories available to the V8s or if an existing one will get canned ?

Cheers Buck.

WOW!!!

Personally, this has to be the meeting of the year.....by a very long way!

Wayne Wakefield...well....you are god!
He stuck it right to Besnard, and got the better of him until Besnard nerfed him something shocking...

They were rubbing panels down the straight, and there was some fun and games through the kink....amazing stuff...i was scared...

Spent the day floating between the media center, the pits, the spectator areas, and the drunks on the hill... (BTW, if the report from race 2 of the sport sedans in a few weeks time in motorsport news is slightly slurred....well dont ask)

Definatley, everyone must tape it. There were a few good stacks (Howison/Rowse which stopped R1, McLeod, Canto). Also porsches put on a really really good race, and the sport sedans were great.

Pics later in the week.
