Biela and McCarthy did not come as suprise, but Mika Salo came as real shock. Personally I thought they would for a young gun like Johnny Kane (Kane will stand in for Biela at Sebring as Biela will be driving the works Joest car)

And JJ Lehto will drive for Champion Audi team in American Le Mans series and in the main event with old team mate from BMS Dallara days, Emmanuelle Pirro and Stefan Johansson.

They have also been confirmed for Le Mans aswell. It has also been confirmed that the drivers for Team Goh at Le Mans will be Seiji Ara/Jan Magnussen/Marco Werner.

Marco Werner will be joining Frank Biela in Joset car for the whole of the ALMS.

Can I just mention that my intention was for team and driver news for Le Mans to be posted solely in the Le Mans 2003 Entry List thread. That way we only have one thread to keep an eye on to keep up to date with developments. The above thread is "sticky", so it will stay at the top of the page come what may - others will slide down the pages into oblivion in due course! So if you can keep your posts on this subject in the main thread, I'd appreciate it. (The Audi UK line up details have been posted there anyway, so I'm keen to avoid duplication, if nothing else - cheers).
