What is it with NASCAR and overseas fans?

Why, in this global age, does averything NASCAR related seem geared to not recognising the fact that life exists outside the continental US?

So far, we've;
Tried to join the Jeff Gordon & Bobby Labonte fan clubs
Order clothing and replacement model cars to reflect what they drive now as opposed to what they drove 5 years ago..
Get hooked up to TrackPass on the NASCAR site to listen to commentary etc.

Everytime we come to enter our details, we are refused as we are not citizens of the US or Canada......

Why? NASCAR don't seem willing to answer, so, US-based folks, any idea?

OK, so you can't get any sense from the US racing organisations, well why not try some home-grown!

OK you guys. Here's how to raise money for the Air Ambulance in your patch, and to have a great day's racing with the fastest motor racing in Europe.

Team Air Ambulance is running in the SCSA V8 Trophy on the only proper superspeedway circuit in the UK - Rockingham, Corby, Northants.

Racing to raise money for the Air Ambulance Charities. Every Thunder Sunday ticket sold raises £2 for the charities. Buy tickets : 0870 735 5000 (24hrs) and quote the ref: AIR AMBULANCE

Tickets cost £10 plus a booking fee of £1. Under 15's free.
On the gate it'll cost you £15, and none of that goes to charity!

Money is distributed to the air ambulance charity associated with the postcode of the purchaser.

Come and see us in the paddock in the "V8 Village".

For those that don't know, the SCSA runs with cars to the same spec as the old ASA Pro Tour did before MTV shafted the ASA, and runs exclusively (at the moment) at Rockingham Motor Speedway, Corby, Northants, England.

with nascar.com, When it asks for billing zip code, click on the continue check-out button. it will then ask your address and country.

Interesting, I'd emailed nascar.com shop to ask about overseas orders (as they said they could I think?) but never received one back. I'll give that a shot

The phone number is a Ripley (Derbyshire) number. Not sure whether they have a shop, they do wholesale, and they attend the big meetings at Santa Pod drag strip (Bedfordshire).

Not sure if they also attend Rockingham meetings - there's usually someone there selling this kind of stuff.
