Overalls

Where is best to pick a new set up from? I was told that if you buy from a certain company then they are subsidised so cost less. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Cheers

Sponsorship is organised by the clubs so it depends what club(s) you belong to. I just bought my new orange romper suit from AWS http://www.advanced-wear.co.uk/ via the BMMC sponsorship which makes them amazingly inexpensive. Other clubs may differ.

Simon,

If you are a member of BMMC then AWS is the place to buy, See the BMMC website.

If you are a member of the BMMC you can get discounted overalls from AWS.

If you are a member of the BMMC you can order a set of overalls at a subsidised price, thanks to sponsorship. I'm not sure exactly how much you save but it is a very big discount. Look on the BMMC web site for details.

Alternatively if you are a member of the Silverstone marshals team then the overalls are £50, refunded in full after you complete 10 days marshalling in one season. You can now choose whether you want them in black or orange.

As another alternative, BARC do a loyalty scheme where you get stamps for attendance, each stamp is worth a certain amount of money towards membership of BARC, what's left over can be spent on regalia including marshals overalls.

We got ours from aws with the bmmc discount which made them less than £20each which is great. Aws were really helpful and the order came through quickly.
