just wondering if people thing formula nippion is a creditable series? Also does anyone know what sort of budget is needed for a season? Also what do you guys know about japanese F3.

European drivers in Japan tend to either get free drives or massively discounted. Guys like Yoong and Karthikayen both bought a small budget to their respective teams. The series is strong and very proffesional with pitstops and ex F1/ChampCar drivers like Hattori, Krumm and Noda. F3 series is good with strong manufacture support from Toyota (Tom's) and Honda (Mugen), with Nissan trying to get a look in. The F3 series is not as proffesional as F/Nippon with the teams struggling to find a proper budget. The transporters are old and the teams quite small, but generally they do a good job. There are a few European drivers, mainly at Tom's and Ing Ing. Erik Comas is looking after a couple of French drivers and he's placed them in the top drives this year.

think its a pretty good domestic series - karthikeyan and yoong showed nothing in the series though .... (tora takagi 2000 champ)has had some good races in cart for derrick walker....
