DNF should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
DC has promised that he is going to give it all he's got to win the championship this year.

Quote:
"I don't intend to give any ground, not an inch to anyone for the rest of the season," said Coulthard. "I said at the start of the season I was more focused than ever, more determined to win and to put myself in with a real chance of the world championship and that is the case. We can continue with the momentum we have now built up. We have tried a lot of things with the car at the Grand Prix, made some big steps forward and we are more confident. We are going to fight. Now I can just get on and concentrate on the next race at the Nurburgring"

Coulthard for the WDC.

After his performance in Spain, I for one thinks he deserves it.

I've not been very fond of Coultard in the past. Not because he lacks in speed or talent but moreso because of his inconsistency and lack of ambition. He does seem to have turned it around this year and if MS, Hak, or Colhtard are the title chasers I'll be rooting for him.

We've always known that Couthard can drive great races sometimes. It's just the stupid mistakes he keeps making that keep him out of championship contention. It won't be clear for a few more races yet whether Coulthard has found some consistency. A couple of good races and a plane crash don't make a championship.

That's a bit harshly put, Ed, but I sort of agree.

DC has said that nothing scares him now, that his focus has become even greater - he has a job to do, and by golly, he's the man to do it.
I just hope he doesn't lose that fire, and is able to deliver. Perhaps he sees Mika's downcast mood as a chink in the Finns armour.
Hakkinen getting four times the salary of DC can't help either...

Whatever, my missus thinks he's bloomin' Superman now...!
