Did U Know this?

I have just found out that Eddie Jordan raced at Le Mans in 1981, he drove a BMW M1 for Emka Productions Ltd / Michael Cane Racing, sharing with Steve O'Rourke and David Hobbs. The car retired on lap 236 in the 22nd hour with Fuel injection and Clutch problems.

SL should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Even more of a surprise is Mark Thatcher, son of Maggie, also racing. Also retired at 22 hours. Mark also raced in 79.

I think I might have a photo of the Eddie Jordan car I will try and hunt it down later.

Are you sure he retired? I heard he turned left instead of right at Arnage and was never seen again........
